Pride celebration at The Edition London

Beginning in 1970, a year after the Stonewall Uprising, the first Pride march signified a turning point in the LGBTQ+ rights with 2025 marking the 55th anniversary. Whilst there is still progress to be made, across the globe the bright days and warm nights of the summer months are a glowing backdrop for the LGBTQ+ community's celebration of diversity and inclusivity. Pride, now celebrated in many global cities is a platform for the community and its friends to stand up in solidarity and in honor of those who deserve every love, success, and opportunity whilst being unabashedly themselves.

To commemorate our LGBTQ+ friends, relatives, collegues and aquaintances, and continue to uplift their voices, let us offer you our curated guide with things to gift, things to take and places to celebrate with pride. For those who are going big and bright at a parade, from London, to Madrid to San Francisco, elevate your look with accessories like Ferragamo's rainbow wedges, Ashih's decorative cape or David Koma's crystal embroidered top. Naturally in spirit of Pride, we've tailored this guide with something for everyone. From Puma's Equal Love unisex football jerseys, to little gems like Roxanne First's jewelled heart necklance. Wether you are gifting for them or you feel you deserve a little Pride-related pat on the back, there's something here for everyone.

Alternatively keep it low key, but still with ultimate quality, with pieces you can take with you, wherever you choose to be this Pride. CHANEL's selection of make up for men are small but perfectly formed in iconic packaging; give your skin a smooth and even complexion using BOY DE CHANEL's foundation. Shade and define your brows for a natural look with the BOY DE CHANEL eyebrow pencil or smooth and hydrate with their super soft, lip balm.

Sometimes its the understated items that matter most, we love Calvin Klein's soft tees and underwear, SMR Days airy vest and Jaquemus' shades of the moment, and the finishing element, Rhodes' Glazing Mist hydrates and refreshes giving that instant glazed skin on-the-go.

If you want to celebrate with a getaway or staycation, Rimowa's Holiday hand carry cases, a playful reinterpretation of their archival pieces, come in a variety of colours inkeeping with Pride's, joyful sentiment. Our other favourites this season are Celine's selection of Triomphe travel bags in vibrant hues, all perfect travel companions delivered with quality in mind.

Thinking about where to go this Pride, Louis Vuitton has you covered with the latest edition of their bright and carefully curated travel guides. The brand discerning travellers choose as a luxury companion, wether with large cases or smaller weekend bags, also has since 1998 delighted its customers with a series of carefully curated travel guides. This year they invite us to step onto the sunny beaches of Capri, Ibiza, Mykonos and Saint-Tropez with a new, more compact and illustrated format.

The latest selection is in collaboration with writers, guests and illustrators from a rich array of backgrounds. Art and nature lover Vincenzo Sorrentino shows us around Capri and Voiles de Saint-Tropez Director Pierre Roinson accompanies us through the streets of Saint-Tropez. Meanwhile creator and designer Jade Jagger shares her long-held love of Ibiza and ceramic artist Marissa Taboulchanas shares her take on Mykonos.

Artists Charline Collette, Charlotte Molas, Muhammad Fatchurofi and Virginie Morgand bring each place to life through a series of beautiful illustrations that showcase both well-loved and hidden gems in each destination. Discover palaces, bistros, antique shops and more through the compact and brightly coloured printed books or through the mobile application, available on iPad and iPhone.

Each Guide Resort is available in French and English in Louis Vuitton stores, on uk.louisvuitton.com, as well as in select bookstores and concept stores, for £17 per destination.

And finally, for those who want to explore stories about the LGBTQ+ community at home why not try Pride the movie, set in 1994 when Thatcher is in power, the story tells of community spirit when LGBTQ+ activists join in solidarity with mining families. While books 'A Place of our Own' and 'Call Me by your Name' explore the history of queer womens' lives in the second half of the twentieth century through six iconic spaces. The latter is described as a beloved coming-of-age classic where a teenage boy explores his sexuality one restless summer on the Italian Riviera. This riveting read went on to become a worldwide bestseller with an ending we could not forget.
