They say the happiest traveller is the lightest one, but what makes travel even more agreeble is beautiful, considered travel companions that cater to your every need, so you can reach your destination relaxed, comfortable and of course, looking your best. Our Fashion Editor Tasha Arguile takes us through some of her essentials, wether away on a shoot or on holiday, she ensures she's covered for every eventuality.
MAKING THE TRAVEL EASY
RIMOWA - Zipping through the airport with just a cabin is my dream, made even chicer with Rimowa. Those slick wheels and the phone charger feature make the journey even smoother; HERMÈS - One trip stuck indoors during a storm was enough to ensure I always pack playing cards for emergencies. The Hermes silver-edged 2H Tissage Cards, with their design that reflects the brand’s textile expertise, finished with a classic box, make playing more pleasurable; ANYA HINDMARCH - A big travel hack that has made packing a breeze is to have my toiletries and cables always packed and ready. For my upcoming holiday, it means I can just grab my short-haul plane and European charger bags, easily saving time and the stress of wondering if I’ve forgotten anything important. Anya Hindmarch’s compact but stylish Cables & Chargers pouch with compartments to keep everything untangled and organised is the perfect pick.
ON THE PLANE

SUQQU - Whatever the weather, I will always be wearing a high-factor SPF on my face. Seccu’s Lux Cream is an excellent base for makeup, as well as guarding against the adherence of pollen, dust, and pollution; 111SKIN - Yes, I will be that person jump-scaring fellow passengers with a sheet mask just before landing! My mask of choice is their Rose Gold Illuminating treatment mask; WELEDA - With long-haul travel, I love to top up my skin with a rich skin balm to ensure it won’t dehydrate. Skin Food, the brand's hero moisturiser, contains soothing wild pansy, calming chamomile, and healing calendula.
WHAT TO WEAR ON THE PLANE
ALO - Nothing beats the cosiness of a hoodie when flying, and the Accolade Full Zip Hoodie in signature French terry has the perfect oversized silhouette for travelling; SLIP - A blackout sleep mask is perfect for the plane and anywhere that doesn’t have good blinds, especially designed with delicate eyelash extensions in mind, the mask sits away from your eyelids to keep lashes perfect while you get your beauty sleep; LOOP - They are called ‘Dream’ for a reason, these are the ultimate earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep.

FACE ESSENTIALS
CHANEL - I love a mist for refreshing and one that has all the hydrating benefits of a serum is a must. I apply creams to my skin slightly damp and then top up throughout the day. This includes No.1 de CHANEL Serum-In-Mist, £94, No.1 de CHANEL Red Camellia Cream, £98, with its lighweight formula, harnesses this flower’s extraordinary capacity for longevity, giving skin a youthful glow, addressing wrinkles, pores, elasticity and radiance, and No.1 de CHANEL Revitalizing Eye Cream, £66, targets dark circles and reduces puffiness.
EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS
Fendi is always a favourite.
With Nothing Underneath - As someone who either takes just hand luggage or is allocated a tiny amount of room in a shoot suitcase for her personal luggage, a shirt will always be a must. It will always smarten up an outfit, cover up your shoulders from the midday heat, an easy beach cover up etc. I live in my linen shirt all summer; HUNZA G - I will always pick a swim over the gym and packing a costume takes up less room than a full workout set. Plus it doubles up as a bodysuit for evening; FENDI - A classic black sandal is always in my case, I’m a flats girl through and through.
MORE BEAUTY
SAM McKNIGHT - A slick back bun for those cold windy or hot humid beach days; BYREDO - I love to pack a mini scent that will then remain for that place, always reminding me of that particular trip or moment; RODIAL - I won’t wear makeup on planes or in the heat of a beach or pool setting, so a lip is always a must.
ACCESSORIES
CELINE - A classic pair of black sunglasses are an essential, especially for those early call times! GANNI - A hat to keep my hair from frying or tangling in the wind! SAINT LAURENT - A classic black backpack that deceptively holds lots yet still fits under a seat is the holy grail.

I adore this rooftop view at Hotel De Russie, Roma
