YUHAN WANG FW24

Yuhan Wang Fall Winter 2024 Collection. London, 19 February 2024

All rise.

Yuhan Wang just served notice by transforming the runway into a courtroom where models led the trial and the audience became the jury. Upon closer cross-examination, the designer's iconic aesthetic appeared -- hyperfemininity and the licence to lace. And as we know from her precedent, layered lace is the law. The conclusive evidence collection consists of big hair, briefcases, and blended textures.

Legal jargon rang through the speakers as we witnessed oversized lace robes inspired by those of High Court judges, two-piece frayed tweed suit co-ords, and Edwardian-inspired collars. Yes, please, to this fashion-laced legalese!

The cause of action? Yuhan Wang's FW24 "The Trials" honours prominent female figures in the legal space who've championed justice and truth, including Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Dame Rose Heilbron, Sandra Day O'Connor, and Brenda Hale. On record, the jury does not need to deliberate - this collection is courtroom chic and hails truth!
