Could you introduce yourself in a few words?


My name is Anna Mila, I am 24 years old and from Berlin, Germany, but I moved to New York 4 years ago. My agency is IMG worldwide and my mother agency is PARS Management in Germany.


How long have you been modeling for?


I started modeling full-time 5 years ago after I finished school but got scouted already at the age of 13.




Where are you isolating and with who?


I am isolating in Berlin, Germany with my parents and my cat Luna.


What is your number one way to pass the time during the quarantine?

To go day by day. Not worry too much about the future, just focus on the presence.

Staying positive and appreciating the little things. Keep communicating, talk to your beloved ones (friends and family) over the phone, do FaceTime sessions, exchange your thoughts and be there for each other, we are all in this together. Alone but not lonely!




What do you do to stay positive?


I do a lot of home workouts such as yoga to calm my mind and hit workouts to release my endorphins.

I also read a lot, listen to podcasts, go for long walks in the nature and I finally started playing the piano again after many years. 


Did you improve your cooking skills?


Yes definitely! Since I’m usually always travelling and on the go, I never really had the time to cook proper meals. My favorite recipe is a red Thai curry, which my mom thought me.




Could you share with us your best recipe?


The best way is to use a wok pan. 

You start by frying onions and two table spoons of olive or coconut oil. After you add coconut milk and the red curry paste. You stir it until it gets a nice color and milk and paste have mixed up together. Add green beans, pepper and chicken (or tofu), baby corn and mushrooms and let it cook (feel free to change up vegetables as u like) Next add lime juice, cilantro, ginger, lime leaves, (a tiny bit of) fish sauce, salt and pepper for the taste. DONE!


I also make Basmati rice as a side dish.

Have you done any new form of isolation shoots?


I’ve done a couple of FaceTime shoots with different photographers during quarantine so far. Usually we connected on Instagram or my agency connected us. I had so much fun doing it as it’s a totally different way of working and creating. I as a model had the chance to be creative and actively involved in the whole process such as styling, location scouting, etc, not only posing.




What is the first place you want to visit once the world opens back up?


Ibiza to just lay at the beach and jump in the ocean and New York to finally see my boyfriend.


Do you think the world will ever be the same?


I think there will be a "before corona" and "after corona". It will be the new normal. But I think our world had to learn the lesson, that we’re not able to just keep going the way we did as we were destroying our world and nature and took everything we had for granted.


We only have this one world so let’s treat it that way!
