Ouze Spring Summer 2027 Collection. London, September 18th, 2026

For Show 3, The Ouze takes the blue carving wax used to make its jewellery out of the workshop and into the exhibition space. The blue comes from the wax itself, a material used throughout jewellery making. Every piece begins in wax. It is carved by hand before being cast in precious metal, and this is where the shape of the jewellery is decided.

The Ouze gives the wax the importance usually reserved for the finished piece. Wax is a temporary state of the jewellery. It holds the form of the piece before disappearing during casting. Found objects collected from around London have been coated in this wax and placed on white plinths alongside the SS27 collection. Here, the wax sits with silver and gemstones, bringing a material usually hidden within the making process into view.

The forms on display allude to future plans and projects for The Ouze, taking the same process beyond jewellery and into furniture and fashion. Show 3 is an ode to the material at the centre of The Ouze’s making process.
