Wioletta goes by the words “easy choices – hard life, hard choices – easy life”. This home-loving young woman grew up in Poland, and now travels the world as a model. She’s worked hard to achieve her goals, taking inspiration from none other than Carine Roitfeld. And Wioletta sure is proof that hard work pays off! With clients like Armani, Dolce&Gabbana, Unravel and Max Mara she has definitely made her presence felt. Succeeding beautiful editorials in Interview Germany and Harper’s Bazaar, this dream girl now enchants us from our very own pages. We had the delightful opportunity to talk to her about her life as a model/stuntman, places with exotic names, and remaining a little bit of a mystery.

When did you start modelling?
I was scouted off the internet when I was 16 years old.
What kick started your career?
I have been a model from some time. Everything I have achieved; I have done through hard work. There was no one thing that kicked started my career. I would love to have it kick started, but for now I’m happy to know that every year is an improvement on the last.
You recently walked the Carine Roitfeld X Luisa Via Roma show. What does Carine Roitfeld mean to you?
Carine Roitfeld is a huge inspiration to me. She is a reflection of powerful women with vision, who shows that if you work hard, you can achieve a lot. I have already worked with her few times and I have no words to explain how much that means to me. A lot of models have some people who believe in them. For me I could say it’s definitely Carine Roitfeld. I got my first big shows because she believed in me… and I hope she still does.
What was the most fun you’ve had on a job?
One time whilst shooting, the team gave me huge piece of paper. I was holding one end of the paper and standing on a platform. And the other end of the paper, well the team decided to set this on fire. So basically, I was standing on the platform looking on the camera and waiting for the fire to reach me. I couldn’t see the fire from the platform, and I was just waiting, terrified, excited and freaking out, trying to not laugh or panic and at the same time pose and be professional. I felt like a stuntman. Maybe it doesn’t seem that funny but believe me: it was.
If you could only wear one designer for the rest of your life, who would it be?
Peter Dundas. He knows how to make women feel sexy, powerful and chic at the same moment. I hope one day I will also get to walk at his show. It would be a dream come true.
What’s your favourite fashion city?
It’s hard to choose just one. I haven’t yet found a place where I could feel like it’s home. But if I can choose only one, my favourite, I would say is Milan. I like the chill vibes there. Sun, no rush and you can take a breath and enjoy the best gelato and pizza in the world.
Is there anything you miss about home when you are away?
Home to me is my family. So, I miss my mum and my siblings the most. Two of them are growing up so fast and I miss a lot of their special moments. My sister, she’s nine and one of my brothers is only two… But at least I saw his first steps so I’m trying to tell myself I was lucky to see that. Anyway, I am happy that I’m not based anywhere yet so that after trips I can catch up with my family.
Your Instagram is filled with some pretty exotic and adventurous travels. What does your perfect summer getaway look like?
I don’t have any plans for summer. Mostly in the summer I work. My whole life it’s travelling, but when I’m tired and I need a break, I choose somewhere exotic to rest. Last time, I went to the Philippines for a month.
For me, a perfect summer getaway is generally spending time, especially free time, with the people who we love. Where we are is less important, but I always recommend places like Barcelona in Spain, Moalboal in the Philippines or Florianopolis in Brazil. I had an amazing holiday there.
What are your best tips for a weekend away in Warsaw?
I’m from a little city far away from Warsaw, but I always have to head into the capital to get a flight.
But if somebody asks me what to do in Warsaw, here’s what I say: do anything you want. Warsaw has a lot of amazing restaurants. I highly recommend trying Polish dishes you definitely won’t regret it. Also, you can even find parachute jumping in Warsaw so do whatever you want to do, just don’t be bored and have fun!
Your Instagram also says “easy choices – hard life, hard choices – easy life”. What hard choices made your life easy and in what respect?
This is a quote from Jerzy Gregorek, a Polish man who went from being an alcoholic to winning four World Weightlifting Championships. These are words you can apply to your whole life. Even food can be as an example. fast food is the easy option, right? But it’s not the best choice, is it? It’s easy to be lazy, but you have only one life, remember. Making hard decisions allow you to progress and be the best version of yourself.
What is your most unexpected skill?
I can’t lick my elbow or beatbox, but I am a great decision-maker and an intelligent conversationalist. I am proud of myself for that because, at this point in my life and at my age, I count this as a real skill. But my hidden talents, they will stay hidden. That’s the point of mystery.
