Our experience began in the beautifully appointed Skyline View Grand Deluxe Premier (Two Double Room), which featured a breathtaking view across Osaka. The room’s contemporary design was enriched byJapanese elements that created a refined and tranquil ambience. Highlights included the plush bedding adorned with Kawashima silk headboards and a spacious marble bathroom equipped with a Japanese-style bathtub and rainforest shower. One of our favourite moments was standing by the window and watching the sunset paint the cityscape in hues of orange and pink.
The hotel’s location on Midosuji Boulevard is often compared to the Champs-Élysées in Paris, and offers guests immediate access to a variety of high end shopping destinations and dining options. Just a short walk away is the bustling Shinsaibashi district, renowned for its eclectic mix of boutiques, cafes and restaurants. For those looking to explore further, Hommachi Station is located right outside the hotel and provides convenient access to Osaka’s extensive subway network, which makes it easy to visit popular attractions such as Osaka Castle and the Dotonbori entertainment area.
Dining at The St Regis Osaka is a culinary journey. We started our mornings at La Veduta, where the breakfast buffet impressed us with its wide selection of international and local dishes, including freshly baked pastries, a variety of fresh fruits and traditional Japanese breakfast items. The restaurant’s elegant setting, with large windows offering city views, along with the attentive staff who added a personal touch, made for a delightful start to each day. For a taste of French cuisine, Rue d’Or is a charming bistro on the ground floor that serves delicious dishes made from the finest local ingredients.
During our stay, we were consistently impressed by the hotel’s dedication to guest comfort and personalized service. From the attentive butler service, which included unpacking and garment pressing, to the soothing treatments at the Iridium Spa, every aspect of our experience was meticulously curated to ensure a memorable visit.
