NET-A-PORTER NYFW Party

On Thursday September 10th in Manhattan, New York, NET-A-PORTER hosted an exclusive cocktail event celebrating Incredible Women, during New York Fashion Week, bringing together a curated community of VIPs, talent, press, friends of the brand and EIP customers for an unforgettable evening celebrating fashion, culture and the remarkable women inspiring the industry today.

Hosted by NET-A-PORTER CEO, Heather Kaminetsky, the event took place in the heart of Soho at legendary chef Thomas Straker’s newest restaurant, Straker’s, exclusively before the official opening later this month. As the very first event at the highly anticipated venue, Thomas showcased his culinary talents through a live experience for guests in the kitchen. 

The event also marked the launch of the September issue of PORTER, spotlighting the ultimate incredible woman, cover star Cindy Crawford. To celebrate, Cindy was in attendance alongside a group of influential women who continue to shape and inspire the fashion, entertainment, sport and music industries. Guests in attendance included Cindy Crawford, Serena Williams, Katie Holmes, Emmy Rossum, Nara Smith, Madeline Brewer, Aurora James and designers Willy Chavarria, Wes Gordon, and Christopher John Rogers.

The soundtrack to the evening was provided by friend of NET-A-PORTER, Mia Moretti who DJ’d throughout the night, bringing her signature fusion of music, fashion and branded bicycles and energy to the celebration. Guests were gifted PORTER’s very first printed zine, created especially for New York Fashion Week and bespoke You Are Incredible T-shirts.
