Louis Vuitton Autumn Winter 2025 Collection. Paris, March, 10th 2025

Nicolas Ghesquière took us to L’Étoile du Nord, a secret station that preserves the excitement of 19th-century luxury rail travel, a space where the Louis Vuitton brand began to enchant and adorn its customers so long ago, weaving luxury into the fabric of travel.

In a hidden inner courtyard at the Gare du Nord, models strode down the platforms and into echelons, becoming striking silhouettes behind frosted windows surrounding the runway and the expectant crowd.

Each look—an embodiment of journeys and destinations, encapsulated the spectrum of commuters and masters of their stations, somehow past and so eloquently present, dynamically draped in structured shoulders and lines that mimic the pulse of Kraftwerk’s Trans Europe Express. A capsule within a collection, born of fast-paced 80s rhythms, for people with places to be and to be seen.

Soft fluid florals and ruffles, resplendent and refined looks, tempered bold graphics and lines, tailored for those whose paths wind by rail, with suitcases that carry more than just clothes; their world. From L’Express with its soft lines and palette, the enduring Keepall and other hip-hugging companions there was modernity and history. Transparent coats and buffered soles, comfort and style to cushion the journey and keep commuters dry without losing the details beneath.

It all amounted to a collection that exemplifies Ghesquière’s inspirational creative vision. A ticket to this train? Yes, we’d board without hesitation,

For this is no ordinary journey— This is travel, elevated.
