Fashion Scout: Ones To Watch Spring Summer 2027. London, September 19th, 2026
With a 9pm start time, Fashion Scout’s Edition 2 Ones To Watch show is one of the later catwalks occurring in the excitement and chaos of this year’s London Fashion Week.
Outside, we wait to be welcomed into Shoreditch’s Protein Studios. Fatigue secretly creeps across your friends' increasingly tired faces as you wait, hopeful that in the next few minutes, you will be captured, entranced, and enthralled by a new, unknown wave of designs and designers.
And just like that, as the concrete doors open, you can feel the fashion crowd buzz again as spectators pour in and scramble for a spot at the front for the best view. Let the show begin.

Featuring eight emerging designers, 2026’s Fashion Scout Ones To Watch focuses on heritage. While heritage is usually seen in a more nostalgic sense, these international designers see it as “material for what comes next.”

Anastasiia Pozhydaeva SS27
Kyiv-born designer Anastasiia Pozhydaeva’s ACIDSIIA brought us a series of sculptural silhouettes in a monochromatic colour palette. Reworking each piece from high-quality deadstock material, Pozhydaeva designed them to be intentionally different. Furry shoulder pads, mesh veils, and cinched waists were executed in collaboration with skilled Ukrainian artists, while the sharp injection of cherry red within the pieces’ construction offered a pleasant feast for the eyes and a perfect nod to Ukrainian culture, tradition, and modern history.

GaMi Lew SS27
GaMi Lew demonstrated an incredible use of fabric and the ability to use sewing and styling to produce clothing that tells a story and creates a personality. Whether with bold colours, wooden clogs, or draped headwear, the duo behind the brand’s creative energy is undeniable, with each look starkly different from the last, creating a presentation that felt unpredictable and full of character.
Met with an applause like no other, Label Astha Garg quite clearly emerged as an audience favourite. Drawing on her Indian lineage, Astha Garg used Indian puppets, ‘Kathputli’, to set the tone of her collection and explore how tradition and legacy can look in the present day. Texture play was key, with Garg incorporating appliqué roses into dresses and mesmerising embroidery. At the same time, layered skirts swished as one walked and wooden fringing clacked, creating a sensory experience that was simultaneously exciting to watch and exhilarating to hear.

Sanjana Ghosh SS27
Sanjana Ghosh’s collection felt like an ode to the Greek tale of Icarus — the man who flew too close to the sun. Working with paper-thin, lightweight fabrics in a beautiful washed white, the designer created a collection that felt both whimsical and powerful. Quiet subversions were sewn throughout: silhouettes were soft yet structured; lines were sharp yet fluid; and forms were at once masculine and feminine. A delicate yet constant balance between fragility and strength emerged in each piece, able to transcend cultural boundaries and brave new fashion territories.

Serena Lee SS27
Based between Singapore and London, designer Serena Lee marries her longstanding and exceptional skill in Chinese painting with technological innovation. In her collection, language and fashion became one, a canvas designed to speak without words. Her pieces invite the audience to pause, examine and admire, revealing a dialogue between art, language and design.

Shewen Song SS27
Shewen Song felt simultaneously emotional and unsettling. Through six different looks, Song explored the concepts of intimacy and desire, security and danger. Her exceptional ability to play with fabric - ribbon, cord and tulle - alongside colour - black, red, white and silver - enabled her to create a startling set of looks that evoked fear from within their fragility.

Styled by ZK SS27
Styled by ZK offered a refreshingly modern take on African attire. The Nigerian-born designer delved into her heritage, emerging once again with a collection that honoured the past while forging a path towards the future of African fashion. Mustard yellows, warm oranges and chocolate browns felt authentic, while tassels, fringe and fluid materials brought movement to each look, creating a feeling that was both fun and effortless.

Each designer brought a unique energy through their collection that compelled you to stay awake and search for beauty and meaning within a rich cultural tapestry. Together, the collections worked in harmony to create a vivid, defined image of the future of fashion while introducing the designers who have the potential to shape it.
