In our latest online Fashion Story titled "Dead End", photographer Danny Millar and stylist Fatma T Maalow revisited the seminal Uno Stile editorial from Italian Vogue in 1995, not with the intention of replicating its imagery, but to reinterpret its spirit. Juergen Teller’s original series with Kate Moss embodied an understated defiance — cinematic but raw, elegant yet unpolished. "We were captivated by the tension between stylised construction and emotional realism, and sought to express that in our own language of styling, composition, and tone. Ultimately, this was our homage to imperfection. A visual reminder that style doesn’t need to shout — it can smirk, slouch, or simply exist". The story is less about clothes, and more about evoking a mood: one where beauty lingers in overlooked places, and fashion meets the unfiltered honesty of being.
