HOST ISABELLA CHARLOTTA POPPIUS WELCOMES LONDON'S IT GIRLS AND CREATIVES TO CELEBRATE EARTH DAY Words by Adam Chan On April 22nd, The BoTree hotel in collaboration with One Tree Planted welcomed a stylish crowd for an intimate "High Society" dinner hosted by model and sustainability advocate Isabella Charlotta Poppius. The vibrant Marylebone Lane property partnered with the charity to honour their planting of 500 trees - which was the target of one tree per guest staying at the hotel in the lead-up to Earth Day. Poppius, the UK Ambassador for One Tree Planted, proudly announced that The BoTree had reached its ambitious reforestation target. The 500 native British trees will include oak, beech, and black poplar and will be taking root across local UK sites in the Essex Forest Initiative. The evening merged sustainable ethos with signature BoTree glamour at the hotel's famed LAVO Italian restaurant. Eco-advocate attendees like Lady Amelia Windsor, granddaughter of Prince Edward, mingled with fellow green crusaders against a backdrop of refined opulence. Fellow trailblazers from fashion, music, and society arrived draped in spring's most covetable looks -with the host Isabella wearing GALVAN's new season as well as sculptural heels from Rene Caovilla. DJ trio Hale Zero, fresh from spinning at Victoria Beckham's 50th bash, were looking forward to being off duty and letting their hair down. Adding her unique perspective to the event was Sandy Aziz, one of our esteemed fashion journalists, who seamlessly blended in with the eco-elite crowd. Concert pianist Cyrill Ibrahim was also in attendance, while author Andrea Cheong represented the vanguard of slow fashion. Sisters Delphi Primrose and Marina Primrose turned heads alongside model Charlotte Smurfit. Meanwhile, Hans Zimmer's stylish daughter Zoe was in attendance representing the next generation.
